Overview The JCA Table Editor is a Snowflake Native Application that provides users with an intuitive, spreadsheet-like interface for performing CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on tables in their Snowflake environment. Each subscription supports one editor instance, designed to manage one table at a time. Contact us if you need more instances to edit multiple tables.

Flexible Table Selection Connect to any table in your Snowflake account through secure reference permissions. Selective Column Editing Choose which columns should be editable, protecting sensitive or calculated fields.

Smart Key Column Handling Requires a single unique key column (composite keys not supported); supports both manual and auto-generated key columns for proper row identification. Meta Column Support Automatically populate the "created by", "created at", "updated by", and "updated at" columns if configured. Audit Tracking Optional comprehensive audit logging of all data changes with before/after values in JSON format.

Custom Messages Display context-specific instructions to users above the data editor. Full CRUD Operations Insert new rows, update existing data, and delete records directly from the interface. Real-Time Change Tracking Automatically detects and displays changes before committing to the database.

Role-Based Access Supports both admin and user roles for controlled access to editing capabilities.
