By installing the app, customers can view query-level access logs, column-level lineage, and data ownership—all without moving data outside Snowflake. Consumers install the native app via Snowflake Marketplace, grant read-only metadata access, and Secoda syncs schema, query logs, and lineage.
In return, Secoda provides searchable documentation, usage insights, and governance workflows directly mapped to Snowflake assets. Secoda collects metadata from Snowflake’s Information Schema, Access History, and Account Usage views.
