SPREEMS

Overview : Peak Performance is a Snowflake native app from Spreems for real-time monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning of workloads as part of your data modernization and cloud migration program with the Alation Data Intelligence Platform.

Data modernization poses significant challenges, from visibility issues with data sources to operational bottlenecks and compliance risks. Gartner highlights that 83% of data migration projects fail, and over 50% exceed their budgets. Managing the transition and migration to cloud ecosystems requires advanced skills and solutions to tackle legacy workloads, data integrity, and cost management. Peak Performance provides the visibility and tools necessary to navigate these complexities, ensuring a smooth and effective transition to Snowflake. Developed through a partnership with Alation, the leading data intelligence platform, Peak Performance offers a set of ready-to-use dashboards with reporting features, making it easy for leaders to track data consumption and costs from legacy platforms and cloud based infrastructure. Leaders have visibility into the consumption data they need to optimize workloads, decommission legacy silos faster, and scale Snowflake usage post-migration, including: Real-Time Monitoring: Integration with Alation Analytics to continuously track query performance across hundreds of data sources (including Snowflake), identifying slow or inefficient queries. Query Optimization: Provides insights for refining SQL queries, improving execution times and resource utilization. Performance Tuning: Allows dynamic adjustment of computing resources based on analytics, ensuring optimal performance during peak periods. Detailed User and Query Analytics: Tracks successful and failed logins, average execution time by user or query type, and sophisticated data catalog adoption metrics for growing a strong data culture.
